How much of your own hair is left, where does the thinning show, and how long do you wear it each day? Those three answers decide the category faster than any product page can.
When a topper is the right answer
A topper covers the parting and crown and clips into your own hair. It needs enough hair around the sides and back to hold the clips. If your parting has widened but your hairline and sides are still dense, this is the lighter, cooler choice.
When a wig is the right answer
A wig covers the whole head and does not rely on your own hair for grip. Choose it when thinning is diffuse, when there is not enough hair to anchor clips, or when you want to change length and colour without touching your own hair.
