Choosing your specifications
Base size, length, density, colour and parting are chosen together — each one affects how the others read. Send measurements and a daylight photo with the request; it is what our team works from.
The confirmation sheet
We send back a written specification for you to confirm. Nothing is cut or knotted until you have confirmed it. If we have adjusted anything you asked for, that adjustment is on the sheet, in writing, before you agree to it.
The amendment window
Bespoke specifications are confirmed online, and changes are accepted within 24 hours. After that the base is already being built and a change means starting over.
Before you order
Bespoke items, and orders over USD 1,000, require an account — that is where the specification sheet and its history live. In-stock items can be bought as a guest.
